First RedPeak + Move for Hunger Food Drive is a Success

We are thrilled to announce the success of our Trick-or-Can food drive, a collaborative effort with Move for Hunger. This Halloween-themed initiative was a kick-off to the new partnership to raise awareness about the program to our RedPeak community and aimed to collect non-perishable food items to support local food banks and pantries.

The results were impressive. Thanks to the generosity of our residents and team members, we collected a staggering 944 pounds of food, equating to approximately 787 meals.

We’re especially proud to recognize the outstanding contribution of our team at 1044 Downing team and the Downing Central HUB, who were named Move for Hunger’s Community of the Month for December 2024. Their incredible efforts in the Trick-or-Can food drive resulted in the donation of 685 pounds of food, providing 571 meals to those in need in our Denver community.

We are incredibly grateful for everyone’s overwhelming support and participation. By working together, we can make a significant impact on hunger in our community. Thank you to our RedPeak community for your effort to Go Forward and make a difference in our community.

As we look forward to the holiday season, we are excited to announce our Season of Giving holiday donation drive. This drive will run from December 12th through December 31st, allowing residents and team members to donate all the way through the holiday season! We are excited to see the difference we continue to make in our Denver community leading into the new year.
