The energy was electric at this year’s Apartment Association of Metro Denver (AAMD) June Awards, where the local multifamily industry gathered for a spectacular night of celebration. True to the evening’s theme of “Inspire,” the event was a powerful reminder of the passion and dedication that drives the Denver housing community. For the RedPeak team, it was a historic milestone: celebrating 25 years of RedPeak operations and 25 years of dedicated membership with the AAMD. To match the high spirits of the evening, attendees showed up dressed to the nines in bold, colorful Kentucky Derby attire, adding an extra layer of fun and flair to an already unforgettable evening.
A 25-Year Legacy of Building Community
Since our founding, RedPeak has focused on a singular, powerful vision: creating exceptional places for people to live, connect, and thrive across Denver. Growing from the ground up to a portfolio of over 50 unique communities housing more than 3,000 residents, our 25-year journey has been defined by team development, operational excellence, and deep-rooted neighborhood connections. The absolute highlight of the night came when our founder and former CEO, Mark Windhager, came out of retirement to accept our 25-year milestone award. Having built RedPeak from its inception, sharing in celebration with Mark and our team was a deeply moving moment that honored our rich history and the legacy we continue to build upon every day.
Leadership in Action: Jammie Bandor and the AAMD
Our 25-year milestone is a reflection of the dedicated people who power our organization and give back to our industry. RedPeak’s impact at this year’s awards was amplified thanks to the incredible leadership of two of our own standout team members on the AAMD Leadership Committee. Huge shoutout to our very own Jammie Bandor, Portfolio Director. As the AAMD board lead for the June Awards, Jammie put together an absolutely incredible evening for everyone in attendance. The night’s theme was “Inspire,” and between the high-energy celebration and everyone dressing to the nines in their finest Kentucky Derby attire, it truly was an evening full of inspiration. We also had the opportunity to celebrate Chelsea Fredell, Senior Project Manager, for her phenomenal service serving the AAMD board for the Charity Auction this past year. Chelsea’s organizational mastery and passion helped drive vital fundraising efforts that directly benefit and support our local community.
Both Jammie and Chelsea exemplify RedPeak’s core mission to Energize Communities and Bring People Together and we couldn’t be more proud to have them in our RedPeak family.
Looking Ahead to the Next Chapter
While the June Awards gave us a beautiful opportunity to reflect on a quarter-century of achievements, the real excitement lies in what is yet to come. With fresh leadership, a growing portfolio, and a rock-solid foundation, RedPeak is just getting started. We are incredibly grateful to our exceptional team, our wonderful residents, and our long-time partners at the AAMD for making the last 25 years so remarkable. We are already looking forward to next year’s awards and to the next 25 years of big ideas, bold dreams, and going forward together!
