RedPeak Welcomes Josh Foley as New Chief Executive Officer

Uncategorized

DENVER, CO – RedPeak, Denver’s premier multifamily owner, developer, and manager, is pleased to announce Josh Foley as its new Chief Executive Officer following an extensive national search to find the company’s next leader. The search was led by RedPeak’s managing board in collaboration with Ferguson Partners.

The appointment marks a pivotal transition as Mark Windhager, RedPeak’s CEO and co-founder, steps into retirement after 25 years of building the company from the ground-up. Under Windhager’s leadership, RedPeak grew from its 2001 founding into a portfolio of over 50 communities serving more than 5,000 residents. Windhager will remain as a Senior Advisor to RedPeak for a short period to assist with the transition.

“After an extended search, Josh stood out for his exceptional operational expertise in managing large portfolios and his proven ability to build strong, lasting teams,” said Windhager. “I’m confident he’s the right leader to take RedPeak to new heights while honoring our core values.”

Foley brings over 25 years of leadership experience from California’s most competitive markets, including senior roles at The Irvine Company and Essex Property Trust. Throughout his career, he has focused on creating environments where both employees and residents choose to stay, emphasizing genuine service and lasting relationships.

“What drew me to RedPeak was seeing how Mark and this team built something truly authentic,” said Foley. “This isn’t just about managing properties—it’s about creating places where people thrive. I’m honored to carry forward this legacy and lead such a remarkable organization.”

Foley’s commitment to community extends well beyond business. A business graduate with an MBA from Pepperdine University, he has consistently gravitated toward active communities like Denver. When not working, he can be found on tennis courts, hiking trails, or ski slopes. He has also dedicated years to supporting organizations addressing homelessness, gaining firsthand insight into how quality housing transforms lives.

Under Foley’s leadership, RedPeak will build on its foundation of putting people first—residents, employees, and community partners alike—while continuing to set new standards in Denver’s evolving multifamily landscape.
