Friday Night Lights: Vision to Victory- RedPeak's Leadership Team Takes on Their Third Annual Conference

Company Initiatives Learning & Development

The roar of the crowd, the flash of stadium lights, the unwavering focus on victory – RedPeak’s 2025 Leadership Conference, “Friday Night Lights: Vision to Victory,” brought all the excitement of a championship game to our team. For two days, Community Managers, Service Supervisors, Directors, Executives, and everyone in between gathered for our third annual conference, a powerful experience dedicated to mentorship, growth, and good old-fashioned team spirit.

This year, the focus was clear: coaching up our leaders to be the best coaches for their teams. We aimed to equip them with the tools and inspiration needed to drive RedPeak toward a collective victory. And who better to kick things off than the legendary Ed McCaffrey? A father, coach, and mentor to many, Ed joined our President, Bobby Hutchinson, for a candid and insightful conversation. They delved into the heart of leadership, exploring what it takes to inspire, build trust, and align a team’s vision. Their dialogue resonated deeply, setting the stage for a conference focused on impactful leadership.

Next, leadership expert and speaker Alex Jackiw took the stage, sharing invaluable strategies for coaching a winning team. Her practical and inspiring insights provided our leaders with actionable tools to elevate their teams. Val Martinez, Service Supervisor, commented towards the session “As a leader coming to a leadership conference you always hope you can walk away with a new tool- I’ve already walked away with several new tools and it’s still early in the day!”

As lunchtime approached, the energy shifted into high gear. A marching band burst into the room, bringing the electrifying atmosphere of Friday Night Football directly to us! They led the way to the dining hall, injecting a dose of pure, unadulterated energy into the midday break.

The afternoon continued with Bobby Hutchinson sharing his personal thoughts on leadership and success. His words were moving and relatable, connecting with team members on a deeply personal level. The rest of the day was dedicated to breakout workshops led by Lori, and engaging panel discussions featuring our Portfolio Directors and on-site Managers and Supervisors, providing their tips for best practices and ideas that have made impactful differences at their communities, providing valuable opportunities for hands-on learning and collaborative problem-solving. “I love the opportunity to grow at RedPeak!’ says Amber Morgan, Community Manager. “I feel like they really provide you with the knowledge you need in order to be successful and, as a new Manager, I’ve really enjoyed the deep dive of information today and getting to know my team members a lot more.”

The evening brought a special treat: a “tailgate” social hour with our generous sponsors. We enjoyed the chance to personally thank them for their support and build connections before a delicious dinner.

Day two began with a burst of team spirit as attendees competed in a lively sideline cheer competition, showcasing their RedPeak pride. Then, we heard from our COO, Faith Aids, sharing her personal and unfiltered journey through her career, dropping golden nuggets of leadership wisdom, and reminding us that “It’s about the people.” She continues to say, “The greatest thing you can do is invest your time into your people, it makes all the difference in the world.” Lori then returned to the stage, guiding us through a final session on leadership and self-reflection, providing a powerful and introspective closing to the conference.

For a company our size, it is very unique to have such a significant investment and thoughtful approach to learning and development. We’re so fortunate that Lori Snider has chose to dedicate her professional career to working with our team members on their career development every day at our company alongside Janna Naugle” says Bobby.

The 2025 Leadership Conference was a whirlwind of inspiration, learning, and team building. It was a powerful reminder of the importance of leadership, mentorship, and the unwavering pursuit of victory. We left feeling energized, equipped, and ready to coach our teams to new heights. We’re looking forward to a victorious 2025!
