Where To Go On New Year’s Eve In Denver (2014)

There’s nothing like New Year’s Eve to get even the most reluctant reveler off the couch and out on the town!

End 2014 with a bang at these fun-filled festivities here in the Mile High City. 


50 Shades of Silver NYE 2015 At this soiree hosted by Tavern Downtown & Cowboy Lounge, the usual ball drop is replaced with an olive that descends into a 12-foot martini glass at the stroke of midnight. The event also includes a Vegas giveaway, a photo booth, and fireworks! Two clubs, two DJs, one cover— a $25 cover that gets you a beer, a Fireball shot, a champagne toast at midnight and party favors.  

New Year’s Eve Bootlegger’s Ball Dress to the nines for this inaugural ball in the 100-year-old Great Hall and Cooper Lounge at Union Station! The ’20s-themed bash begins at 8 p.m., and features three parties on three levels. DJs, dancing, appetizers, desserts, and a complimentary toast at midnight are included. Ticket prices start at $150. 

Decadence NYE This indoor EDM event was the largest of its kind in North America last year. Keep the good times rolling in 2014 at 6:30 p.m. on December 30th. And prepare for a long night ’cause this party don’t stop until 2 a.m.! Food and beverages will be available at various locations throughout the venue. Soul Gloss New Year’s Eve Two of Denver’s most popular dance parties have come together to host this NYE extravaganza at The Meadowlark. Starting at 9 p.m., Lipgloss’s DJs will be spinning indie, soul, rock and retro records in the basement while Mile Hile Soul Club’s DJs will be spinning classic soul, R&B and funk records on the covered patio. Tickets start at $20; please note that a limited number will be sold at the door. 

Soul to S.O.U.L. This fundraiser for Supporting Opportunities for Ugandans to Learn will be held at the History Colorado Center from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. The night includes an open bar, light food, live music and a silent auction. Access to the VIP room —with private bars, an aerial view of the party and a private show from Logo Ligi— starts at 8:30 p.m. General admission tickets for the event are $85 and VIP tickets are $150.
