Gold Rush Music Festival This two-day festival features experimental music artists who tend to be overlooked, including local acts The Kevin Costner Suicide Pact, Paw Paw, and Pythian Whispers.
Beethoven & Brews Enjoy samples of up to five beers, hors d’oeuvres, and Beethoven chamber music performed by the Colorado Symphony Orchestra at this event held in the Magnolia Hotel ballroom. Staff from Odell Brewing Company and Wynkoop Brewing Company will be on hand to pour the special beer selections.
Colorado Honey Festival Hosted by Denver Urban Homesteading, this festival gives attendees the opportunity to hear beekeepers speak about hives, see how honey is extracted, sample local honey and honey from other states and countries, and purchase beekeeping equipment, as well as foods and personal care products made with honey.
Komen Denver Race for the Cure Registration for the race, which raises money for breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment, closes at 5 p.m. Saturday. If you’re not up for participating, cheer runners on as they make their way through downtown Denver.
