Denver Weekend Rundown: Sept. 13-15

Looking for things to do in Denver this weekend? The RedPeak staff has your back. Here’s a list of our top picks for Sept. 13-15.

Oddball Festival Presented by Funny or Die, this festival will be held at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre in Greenwood Village. Dave Chappelle and Flight of the Conchords are the headliners. Other performers include comedians Jeff Ross, Kristen Schaal, and Brody Stevens.

Great American Techno Festival This two-day event is dedicated to the past, present and future of American techno music. An emphasis on domestic talent, particularly talent from Colorado, helps set this festival apart. More than a dozen artists, including Denver’s Hipp-E, are slated to perform.

Snowboard on The Block This North American Snowboard Film Festival will feature more than 20 never-before-seen films, more than 20 bands on two stages, a photo gallery, a gear sale, and snowboarding/skateboarding competitions and demos.

Denver Walk for Polycystic Kidney Disease Though there is currently no treatment or cure for PKD (which often results in a need for dialysis and a kidney transplant), this walk raises awareness and funds to support the PKD Foundation. On-site registration begins at 9 a.m. at Washington Park.

Mean Girls Quote-Along Alamo Drafthouse Littleton is screening “Mean Girls” with subtitles right before the film’s iconic lines, so the audience can join in. It’s like they’ll have ESPN or something.
