The Bizarro Slam Typical poetry slam rules are “tossed out the nearest window into oncoming traffic and completely obliterated by the waste management truck, which just happens to be operated by an overly anxious and half-drunk driver who’s decided that today is the day he pushes the five ton truck to its limits,” according to its organizers. The slam begins at 8 p.m. at Gypsy House Cafe and proceeds go toward this year’s Let the Children PLAY: E(art)h Day in the Park on April 20.
