Denver Post Underground Music Showcase Colorado’s premiere indie music and art festival is underway! This year’s showcase features performances by more than 400 local and national acts at 20+venues. Single Day passes are $35 and available for purchase at the box office (at 21 S. Broadway) the day of.
Sierra Nevada Beer Camp Across America Sierra Nevada —one of the nation’s top breweries— is bringing its seven-city beer festival tour to Civic Center Park. Sierra Nevada invited more than 250 craft brewers from eight states to participate in the Rocky Mountain Edition of the tour, and a whole bunch of them are along for the ride. Which means attendees will have lots of beers to sample between 5 and 10 p.m. Tickets are $65.
Oyster the Race Good luck to the teams of three to six people who’ll set out to complete “The Ultimate Urban Adventure Race.” With a mystery course that stretches 10-30 miles, they’re going to need it! Check-in begins at 6:30 a.m. at the Downtown Aquarium and the first round of racing kicks off at 8 a.m. Entry fees vary depending on the course you choose; prices start at $39.
Union Station Grand Opening After several years of major renovations, historic Union Station is finally ready for its public debut! The free grand opening celebration will be held from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., and includes beer, food, live music, family-friendly activities, and giveaways.
Indigo Girls & Mary Chapin Carpenter Grammy award-winning artists the Indigo Girls and Mary Chapin Carpenter are co-headlining this concert at Red Rocks, each performing their own set and joined on stage by the Colorado Symphony Orchestra. The show starts at 7 p.m. Reserved tickets are $39.95-$59.50 (not including service charges).
