Biennial of the Americas: Denver Night Celebrate Denver’s unique cultural community with an evening of folk, classical, jazz, rock and avant-garde music, as well as video, art, sculpture, and dance. A live show featuring a dog opera performance accompanied by the Colorado Symphony, as well as an acoustic performance by members of Denver’s own, The Fray, is among the event’s highlights.

Down & Derby This adult roller skating party is held the third Friday of every month at EXDO Events Center. Bring your own skates or rent one of 600 pairs for $5.

Orthodox Food Festival & Old Globeville Days This year marks the 10th anniversary of this two-day event, which features Russian, Romanian, Serbian, Greek, Italian, Ukrainian, and Mexican cuisine. Eat, drink, and take a tour of the 115-year old Holy Transfiguration Orthodox Cathedral.
 
Build! The Amazing World of LEGO This exhibition features works by 20 LEGO artists from across the United States. Plus, visitors will have the opportunity to create their own LEGO masterpieces.
 
Sunday
Double Road Race Denver Participants in this event, created by Runner’s World magazine Founder Bob Anderson, will run two road races −a 10K and a 5K− on the same day. Five thousand dollars in prize money will be awarded.
