The 33rd Annual Colorado Indian Market and Southwest ShowcaseProduced by an artist with a documented Choctaw heritage, this festival features art and entertainment by Native Americans and non-natives whose work shares Indian, southwest, western and wildlife themes. A single admission is good for the entire weekend, and includes access to all the festival’s shows, performances and demonstrations!

Mondo Vino Wine Tasting Expand your palate with this tasting featuring vinos from around the globe. While you debate which wine to sample next, nibble on bread from the Denver Bread Company and cheeses from St. Killian’s.


International Sportsmen’s Expo This 36th annual expo is being held at the Colorado Convention Center through Sunday. More than 500 companies are on hand to hawk fishing, hunting, camping and offroading gear and services. Those of you with a case of wanderlust should check out the lodges and resorts highlighting their state and regional locales, as well as destinations in Alaska, Canada, Mexico, South America and South Africa. 

Denver Divas Reception & Artist Open House Stop by art and apparel store MegaFauna to meet local artist Robert Bell and see his latest series, Denver Divas– prints featuring the pop culture personalities he thinks embody the personality of various Denver neighborhoods, including Capitol Hill, Colfax, and Five Points. Then let the good times roll at the after party at Cold Crush.


National Western Stock Show & Rodeo Celebrate our nation’s Old West heritage with bulls and broncos and cowboys and cowgirls at the National Western Conference. The festivities include more than 15,000 animals, rodeo performances, horse shows, livestock competitions and auctions, as well as booths selling everything from cowboy boots to Native American jewelry. The show is only in town through next Sunday, so plan accordingly!
