Pretty Lights Colorado native Derek Vincent Smith kicks off his two-night gig at Red Rocks. The electronic musician is expected to play tracks from his new album, A Color Map of the Sun. Tonight’s concert will also feature performances by Talib Kweli and Blue Sky Black Death.


Ironton Group Show Opening Reception The exhibit (which Ironton Studios & Gallery is calling it’s best in recent memory) and party celebrates the RiNo pioneer’s 15th year, the opening of Estudio Grande, and its newest artists.  

Chipotle Cultivate Festival Hosted by Chipotle, which opened its first restaurant in Denver 20 years ago, this outdoor festival brings together farmers, chefs, thought leaders, artists and musicians at City Park  for a day of cooking demos, performances, and an educational component that emphasizes the importance of sustainable and locally sourced foods.


Summer Salsa and Bachata Bash This event, held at the Cheesman Park Pavillion, starts with a Zumba class at 2 p.m. A free beginner salsa class and open dancing are slated for 3 and 4 p.m., respectively. Band Son Tres will provide live music and a taco vendor will be on hand for those who don’t bring their own picnic lunch.

Breaking Bad Viewing Party Watch the final season of the AMC drama on the big screen with fellow fans at Sidewinder Tavern, located at 4485 Logan St. Themed drinks −featuring beakers, test tubes, blue rock candy and dry ice− and food specials are part of the festivities.
