Friday

Chelsea Handler This comedian won’t be hosting her E! late night show “Chelsea Lately” much longer, so fans should get out to the Bellco Theatre to see the Denver leg of the standup tour in support of her latest book, Uganda Be Kidding Me. She penned the travel diary after a breakup inspired her to visit Africa, where she spent several weeks on safari with family and friends. Watch a brief but comical video about her upcoming visit to Denver HERE.

Animal Crackers Watch Groucho, Harpo, Chico and Zeppo come to life in this raucous Marx Brothers comedy about the theft of a valuable painting from a society dinner party. The show plays now through May 11 at The Stage Theatre. Group discounts available!

Denver Auto Show This show at the Colorado Convention Center is ground zero for 2014 domestic and import vehicles –cars, vans, crossovers, hybrids, light trucks and sport utilities– from 39 manufacturers. Plus, reps from those manufacturers will be on hand to answer questions. You’ll also be treated to sneak peeks at select 2015 models, and have the chance to get behind the wheel at the show courtesy of 11 ride-and-drive programs. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for kids ages 6-12. Kids under 6 get in free.

Saturday

Doors OPEN Denver Explore the architectural landscape in 12 neighborhoods throughout the city with walking and bicycling tours led by the Denver Architectural Foundation. During the two-day event you’ll visit a variety of spaces, including civic buildings, mansions, hotels, museums, churches and schools– some of which aren’t typically open to the public. Tickets are free!

Sunday

Robotics at the Hangar This expo about all things robotic kicks off at noon at the Wings Over The Rockies Air & Space Museum. Mingle with roboticists, inventors and robot enthusiasts, watch live robotic demonstrations, and get an up close and personal look at one of the robots used by the Denver Bomb Squad.
