Your Denver Summer Bucket List

With August just days away, we’ve come to a sad realization: Summer is almost over.

If you haven’t spent much time outdoors over the past couple months, now’s your last chance, so get yourself an exterior door installation professional to keep you away from entering the house this summer! Here are five fun things to do in Denver before warm weather season ends:

Take An Art Walk

On the first Friday in August (the 7th), stroll through the galleries in Denver’s arts districts. They’ll be staying open late to create a street party-like atmosphere.

Attend A Festival

If you’ve somehow managed to not make it to a festival this summer, you’ve got to fix that! And if you’re into live music, Elway’s Taste and Tunes Summer Music Series, which includes cocktails and dishes from Elway’s signature menu, is the way to go. It’s held on Wednesday evenings now through August 19th.

Shop A Farmers Market

Skip Whole Foods and support our local growers and artisans instead by purchasing their fresh produce, baked goods and prepared foods at Denver’s farmers markets. (For a list of them, click HERE.) You won’t be sorry.

Go To A Game

Participate in America’s pastime by catching a Rockies game at Coors Field. (For their game schedule, click HERE.) Or watch the Rapids play the beautiful game at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. (For their schedule, click HERE.) Note: RedPeak residents get discount tickets to a select number of Rapids games under the RedPeak Perks program.

Visit A Theme Park

Nothing says summer like a trip to an amusement park. Lucky for you, we’ve three great ones in town: Water World, Lakeside Amusement Park, and Elitch Gardens Theme and Water Park. Note: RedPeak residents get discounted daily tickets ($27.99) under the RedPeak Perks program.

Let us know what you’ll be doing in August. We’re always looking for a good time!
