4 Things To Do In Denver: 4th of July 2015
Barbecue. Fireworks. Family and friends. Team RedPeak loves the 4th of July.
And, lucky for us, there are plenty of ways to celebrate in Denver! Here are four of our favorites:
When: July 3, 2015
Where: Civic Center Park
This free event, which begins at 8 p.m., includes a concert, a light show on the Denver City and County Building, and a stunning fireworks finale! The concert will feature patriotic and contemporary favorites from local funk sensation Funkiphino and the 101st Army Concert Band from Buckley Air Force Base.
When: July 3-5, 2015
Where: Cherry Creek North
This free three-day fest is a celebration of the visual, culinary and performing arts. Artivity Avenue is a full block of activities for kids, Culinary Avenue features tasty food and live cooking demonstrations, and the Cultural Pavilion will have music, dance and theatre from around the globe.
When: July 4, 2-15
Where: Elitch Gardens Theme & Water Park
The price of admission gets you into this fantastic fireworks display, which begins after dark. Tickets start at $34.99
When: July 4, 2015
Where: Washington Park
Do this walk/run and you won’t have to feel bad about all the hot dogs and potato salad you ate. Participants are encouraged to wear red, white and blue, and prizes will be awarded for best kids, and best adult, display of USA. Plus, the first 800 finishers get a Liberty Run pint glass!
