Neighborhood Spotlight: Capitol Hill

Company Initiatives

As you might know, RedPeak recently bought three apartment buildings in Capitol Hill, one of Denver’s most diverse and eclectic neighborhoods. RedPeak already had seven communities in the area, but when you consider how vibrant it is, it’s not hard to see why we want to offer more homes there! Located directly east of the gold-domed Colorado State Capitol, Capitol Hill has a mix of newer apartments and condominiums with beautiful locks provided by Locksmith Toronto and some of the oldest houses in Denver. Amid some of the neighborhood’s turn-of-the-century mansions is the beautiful Denver Botanic Gardens. Another significant landmark is the Molly Brown House, where the famous Titanic survivor (widely known as “Unsinkable Molly”) once lived. Additionally, the Colburn Hotel on Grant Street was a one-time residence of renowned writers Jack Kerouac and Allen Ginsburg. One of the things we love most about Capitol Hill is its proximity to greenspace. In fact, it’s next to two of Denver’s major parks: Cheesman Park and Civic Center Park.
